"Multi-face People" : They do not know
Irony! people think they have two sides, good or bad. Is it a question or an answer? No one knows except that one.
Lets not talk about what others think about a personality, cause this is such a cliché thing. People tend to have opinion (in actual (opinions)) about others and different people have different opinion regarding the same personality. Sometimes I wondered is this possible, because according to one person Mr. X is arrogant while for the second one he is gentle, one says that Mr. X is an isolated personality while there are some who love sharing their feelings and expressions with him (without even thinking that he'll misuse them or make fun of the same), Mrs. Y wife of Mr. X while talking to others says that Mr. X is the most unromantic guy on the face of this earth but his secretary have a contradictory opinion. By now you must have understood what I am saying and what I am trying to dig up.
Coming to what I started of, we being a human being on the face of this planet live almost on an average 50-55 years of "LIFE" which if I explain sums up a journey started by toddler who knows nothing about almost everything except two things i.e. happiness and sadness and ended by an old man who have experienced everything (here I am talking about the different emotions of life). If you are reading well then you can guess what is the key of one's behavior or different phases, right it's emotion.
"Your emotional life is not written in cement during childhood. You write each chapter as you go along." Harry Stack Sullivan
I might not be the right person to judge but from personal experience I can claim (that too strongly) that whatever you are experiencing in one's behavior or nature are the emotions he/she has experienced in life. It's not who they met, who they love, who they hate, who they envy, who abandoned them, who cheated them and etc. It's the emotions that they generated from all these things.
DO NOT mis-interpret emotions as feeling. Both are different.
Let's put sense in this thing, let's take "JOKER" everyone knows the character joker from the DARK KNIGHT, the great "Heath Ledger" portrayed this iconic character and left everyone spell-bound with a mystery in mind of those who focused on the characterization of this personality that who actually saved and put the soul back in gotham city. This character of "JOKER" is one of the mysterious character because the story didn't shed light on his story and background, people do not know who he is and from where he came. Things he did and the way they turned out has this implication that they all went to create and form a simple meaning that what he did was justified and in a way "for the citizens for gotham". He did what he liked, the most famous line of his "Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I'm a dog chasing cars. I wouldn't know what to do with one if I caught it! You know, I just... *do* things. "
JOKER IS AN EXCEPTION of everything, the lines he used, the plot in which he was used, was messed up completely to all extent. We witness people like him in rarest of the rarest situation in our lives. But he also justifies the title as well as the first para I penned down.
Off the record (not literally critics 😉) WHAT ARE EMOTIONS? According to some greats, emotions are :
According to Aristotle, emotions are:
- Anger, opposite calmness (not feeling excited).
- Friendship, is where people have a bond of joy and will come together and have fun
- Fear, opposite courage (having courage in the face of fear)
- Shame, opposite confidence (shame: how one feels about one's past bad actions or thoughts; shamelessness: one does not feel shame, but others think one should.)
- Kindness (benevolence), opposite cruelty (kindness: when people are good to other people)
- Pity (when people feel sorry for other people)
- Indignation (feeling angry because something is not fair, such as undeserved bad fortune)
- Envy, jealous (pain when people have something that one wishes for oneself)
- Love, a strong emotion of attachment one feels for someone else. Ranges to family, pets, friends, boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband or fictional characters.
Darwin said emotions are:
- Suffering and weeping
- Low spirits, anxiety, grief, dejection, despair
- Joy, high spirits, love, tender feelings, devotion
- Reflection, meditation, ill-temper, sulkiness, determination
- Hatred and anger
- Disdain, contempt, disgust, guilt, pride, helplessness, patience, affirmation and negation
